Dr. Peralta has been a practicing Allergist and Immunologist for over 20 years. After his post graduate fellowship at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, he joined the Fort Dodge Medical Center in 1996. As the multi specialty group expanded over the years, they became known as the Trimark Physicians Group then eventually UnityPoint Clinics. In 2017, Dr. Peralta established his own independent practice, the Centers for Allergy, Asthma and Immune Disorders, PC, an adult and pediatric specialty clinic.

He received his medical degree from the Pontifical University of Santo Tomas in 1984 then completed his Internal Medicine residency and fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine in 1992. He underwent further training at the University of Illinois-Chicago followed by a post graduate fellowship in Allergy and Immunology at the University of Iowa in 1994 until finally settling down in Fort Dodge.
